This is a legal document that sets out your rights and obligations and those of Chemical Network. All visitors are bound by this agreement each time they access the Chemical Network site and/or its services.

Definitions

"User" - by accessing any part of Chemical Network you become a "user" of Chemical Network and you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of this agreement.

You warrant that any material that you submit to Chemical Network is free from viruses and will not have any detrimental or contaminating effect upon this website or any other users.

You remain ultimately responsible for any material that you post on Chemical Network and warrant that the comments or information supplied are true and accurate. You agree that you will not post any material that is subject to copyright or not otherwise owned by yourself.

You agree that you will not submit material which is untrue, defamatory, abusive, or otherwise in breach of any applicable law. We reserve the right to remove from Chemical Network any material submitted by you.

You shall indemnify us against any claims or losses, expenses or liabilities howsoever incurred (including legal expenses and other professional fees) arising as a consequence of your breach of any of the terms of this condition.

Your use of Chemical Network is entirely at your own risk.

We have no control over or responsibility for the truth or accuracy of any material available on Chemical Network, whether provided by users or others. We do not give any warranty as to the availability, accuracy, completeness, currency or reliability of the information and material published on the Chemical Network Weblog and expressly disclaim on behalf of Chemical Network and any party contributing material (to the maximum extent permitted by law) all liability for any damage or loss resulting whatsoever and howsoever from your use of or reliance on the information and material published on Chemical Network. Accordingly, to the extent that the law permits, you release Chemical Network and its ownwes, contractors and employees from all liability arising out of or in connection with Chemical Network and the material included here by users and other third parties.

You are responsible for ensuring that no material you post, or which is posted through a machine on which you access Chemical Network, nor any activity or communication you make in connection with any Chemical Network Service, will be capable of (a) infringing the intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity, (b) breaching any applicable law, whether criminal, tortious or otherwise, or (c) appearing to be offensive, threatening, obscene, pornographic, false, unreliable or misleading.

Each user acknowledges that we are entitled to withdraw any material which appears on Chemical Network which we determine to be capable of breaching any part of this Agreement or bringing Chemical Network into disrepute. However, each user acknowledges that we do not monitor material which appears on the Chemical Network Weblog, and that we are reliant upon all users to notify us of anything you see here which appears likely to breach this Agreement.

We give no warranties of any kind concerning Chemical Network or the material therein. In particular, we do not warrant that Chemical Network or any of its content is virus free. You must take your precautions in this respect as we accept no responsibility whatsoever for any infection by virus or other communication or by anything which has destructive properties.

You can access other sites via links from Chemical Network - we are not responsible in any way for any of their contents.

We will not be liable to you or any third party for any indirect or consequential loss or damage, or for any loss of data, profit, revenue or business, howsoever caused (whether arising out of any negligence or breach of this Agreement or otherwise). Chemical Network will also not be liable for any failure to perform of its obligations under this Agreement caused by matters beyond its reasonable control.

We reserve the right to assign this Agreement, and to assign or subcontract any or all of our rights and obligations under this Agreement. You may not without the written consent of Chemical Network assign or dispose of this Agreement.

Please note that despite the above terms and conditions some users may provide information, or otherwise behave, in a way that is unreliable, misleading or even illegal. Some people may not be who they say they are.

Intellectual Property

You acknowledge that all copyright, trade marks, and other intellectual property rights in and relating to Chemical Network (including the material which is contributed by users) are owned by Chemical Network. You may not copy, distribute, show in public or create any derivative work from Chemical Network, or any of the material which is found on Chemical Network unless properly licensed to do so by us.

Variations

This agreement and your use of Chemical Network shall be governed by English law and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

No tax, legal or investment advice of any kind (including advice and opinions with respect to the nature, potential value or suitability of any particular securities transactions, financial products or investment strategy) is being provided by us (or any party contributing material to Chemical Network) to you. Any tax, legal or investment decisions made by you will be based solely on your own evaluation of your own circumstances and not on the basis of any information given in Chemical Network.

Any changes to this Agreement will be made available via Chemical Network at least 7 days in advance of the changes taking effect and you will be deemed to have agreed to the terms and conditions by accessing Chemical Network following the changes taking effect.

Third Party Material on Chemical Network

You will see advertising material submitted by third parties on Chemical Network. Individual advertisers are solely responsible for the content of advertising material which they submit to us, including ensuring that it complies with relevant legislation. We accept no responsibility for the content of advertising material, including, without limitation, any error, omission or inaccuracy therein.
